 Hey peeps! I'm going to  talk about the current book I'm reading. The book's title goes as "The Heir" written by Kiera Cass. This book is the fourth book in her "The Selection Series". The protagonist of this book is Eadlyn Schreave, who is the first born princess of the royal family of Illéa, born to King Maxon Schreave and Queen America Schreave. She has a twin brother named Ahren Schreave and a 14 year old brother named Kaden Schreave.

The plot begins with Eadlyn being forced to undergo "the Selection", where she'll select her partner, who'll sit by her side when she takes up the throne. Yeah...in this story the first born inherits the throne by birthright. Even though she doesn't want the throne she still has to take it up because Ahren will be marrying the next queen of France, Camellia, and while the other is too young. The Selection process consists of her meeting the candidates, hosting tea parties, and spending time with them. The number of candidates who'll be chosen is 35.

She wasn't interested in getting married. But a situation occurred in the kingdom that needed to be investigated in secret and they were in need of a distraction that will attract people's attention. So she was asked to hold the Selection for three months which would be enough for them to investigate.

All eligible men from the country were to submit their details, and Eadlyn will choose 15 members at random using chits.So who are the 15 eligible bachelors who have the chance to hold the hands of the princess after three months? Let's wait for it...
