A deserving treat?
As the sun rose on the morning of my allied exam of End of Semester exams, my friend and I gathered our notes and settled in for a last-minute review session. With the exam scheduled for the afternoon, we wanted to make sure we were as prepared as possible.
When the time finally came to head to the exam hall, we felt a mixture of anticipation and apprehension. Would all our hard work pay off? Could we tackle whatever the paper threw our way? As we sat down with our pens poised, I couldn't help but feel a surge of determination. We had come this far, and we were ready to give it our all.
As I flipped through the pages of the exam paper, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. The questions seemed manageable, and I found myself drawing on the knowledge we had revised earlier that morning. Sure, there were a few tricky ones here and there, but overall, it was the kind of paper we had hoped for—not too easy, but definitely not impossible.
With each question answered, I felt a sense of satisfaction wash over me. My friend and I were silently cheering each other on as we navigated through the exam. As the minutes ticked by, the once daunting paper began to feel more and more conquerable.
Finally, with the last question completed and the exam papers handed in, we breathed a collective sigh of relief. We had done it. We had successfully conquered the allied paper. And what better way to celebrate than with a well-deserved treat?
With smiles plastered on our faces, my friend and I made our way to a pani puri stall near our college. There's something about the tangy, spicy flavors of pani puri that never fails to lift my spirits.
As we devoured our pani puris, savoring each bite, we made plans for the rest of the evening. Ice cream, we decided, was a must. And so, with our stomachs full of delicious street food, we made our way to the nearest supermarket to grab them.
Scoops of creamy goodness in hand, we strolled through the streets of MCC, basking in the glow of our accomplishment. The worries and stresses of the exam seemed like a distant memory now, replaced by the simple joy of indulging in our favorite treats with a good friend by my side.
As the sun began to set on the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city, I couldn't help but feel grateful for days like these—days filled with laughter, friendship, and the simple pleasures of life.
